Palermo & Monreale
"Anyone who has seen the sky of Palermo once will never be able to forget it."
Johann Wolfgang von Goethe

Welcome to the enchanting Palazzo Conte Federico! During our visit, we were warmly greeted by our gracious host, who shared delightful family stories filled with humor. The entrance to her home is captivating, and the striking blue seat in the center of the room has a fascinating history of its own. We couldn't help but laugh at the amusing tales of the neighbor's balcony making our experience truly unforgettable. The stunning Palermo sky was the perfect backdrop for our group walk.
Cathedral of Monreale
This beautiful and breath taking cathedral is not only a UNESCO world heritage site but, it is known for its 6.340 square meters of Byzantine gold mosaics, dating back to the 8th century. The cathedral was unbelievable and just set the standard for the rest of the trip. The little town was quaint and welcoming.
